RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a means of making information available to any RSS-aware software (typically called news readers or aggregators). RSS consists of a simple XML format that shares headlines with your reader, providing automatic notification when new information is available. Avid.com feeds are in the RSS 2.0 format.
How do I get a feed?
To subscribe to any RSS news feed, you need a reader (also called an aggregator.) There are many RSS readers available. If you are interested in receiving RSS feeds and have yet to find the right tool yet, check out the current listing on Google. Once you've installed your tool, you can add any of the Avid feeds using the links on this page. Most readers allow a drag and drop of the RSS link directly into your reader for the desired feed.
